Synthesis method of Lithopone

The natural barite containing more than 95% barium sulfate and anthracite were mixed with 3:1(mass), crushed to a diameter of about 2cm or less, and entered the reduction furnace. The furnace temperature was controlled to 1000 ~ 1200℃ in the front section and 500 ~ 600℃ in the back section. The reduction furnace was rotated at the speed of 80s per revolution, and the reaction conversion rate was 80% ~ 90%. The obtained barium sulphate enters the leaching device, and the temperature is controlled above 65℃ to obtain 701% barium sulphate content, then enters the clarifying barrel, after clarification, zinc sulfate is added to react, and the zinc sulfate content is controlled to be more than 28%, pH=8 ~ 9, and the mixture of barium sulphate and zinc sulfide with a density of 1.296 ~ 1.357g/cm3 is obtained. The reaction liquid was filtered by plate and frame pressure to obtain filter cake lithopone with water content not more than 45%, which was baked into a dry roasting furnace to change the lithopone crystal shape, and then pickled with sulfuric acid at 80℃. Finally, it is washed by water, added color fixing agent, pressed filter, dried and ground.
